ServiceNow ITSM Senior Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH / San Francisco, CA

Duration: 6 months

Technical Competency

• Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Developer implementing Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, Mobile App, Vertical Agent.
• Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications in alignment with approved design plans.
• Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing or client-specific testing.
• Experience developing ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more web services, XML, HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP query for connecting to Oracle, MySQL databases and AD.
• Experience creating repeatable processes for design, development, test, staging, production environments with high availability.
• Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator.
• Should possess knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Basic knowledge of ITIL/industry standards.
• Knowledge of SDLC.

• Experience with Service Catalog module and creating custom applications.
• Experience creating request forms, developing integration with external systems, implementing security (including ACLs), and enhancing the UI.
• Implement moderate to complex custom widgets and backend scripting.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules and functionalities.
• Hands-on experience in configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, complex workflows and solution migration.
• Experience in developing integrations using APIs, web services, data imports/exports.
• Workflows, SLAs, Import Sets and Update Sets experience.
• Creating Record Producers and Catalogue Items using Variables, Variable Sets.
• Schedule jobs, events and triggers to manage business needs.
• Creating transform maps and Import Sets for bulk data uploads.
• Solid understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes.
• Experience in ServiceNow custom development.
• Sound knowledge of CS fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OS concepts, excellent analytical, methodical problem-solving, troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to meet objectives, goals, deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, teamwork.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CAD or CSA preferred.
