Job description

Job Description

Kronos has a long history of avionics engineering, working with some of the largest aircraft integrators in the world. We always provide our partners with 100% customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. If you are excited about working for a company that takes its job seriously and does not cut corners, you will have a home with Kronos.

We are seeking a Senior Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer. You will play a critical role in supporting the manufacturing of advanced Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) inertial sensors, pressure sensors, magnetic sensors, and microelectronics.

In this position, you will drive process improvements, troubleshoot technical challenges, and support both production and new product introduction in a dynamic and highly technical environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing or semiconductor environment
  • Experience in product or process engineering, particularly within silicon fabs or sensor-based technologies (MEMS, pressure, magnetic sensors)
  • Comfortable working in cleanroom environments
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities between daily production support and long-term strategic initiatives
  • Strong hands-on mindset and ownership over deliverables
  • Experience using statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab, RStudio, SAS)
  • Effective communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Background in root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA), Lean principles, and Six Sigma practices
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide test and manufacturing engineering support for MEMS inertial sensors, microelectronics, and pressure/magnetic sensor products.
  • Perform statistical data analysis to monitor process capability, evaluate product trends, and lead yield improvement initiatives.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to engineering practices.
  • Investigate and resolve production and process-related issues.
  • Collaborate on new product development and design improvements for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support test equipment maintenance and calibration plans to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Contribute to a self-directed team culture focused on quality, efficiency, and performance metrics (RTY, BIQ, COPQ, etc.).
  • Support software and product testing during development and production phases.
