Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer II - Electrical Engineer/Pressure Sensors (Finance)

Role Overview:

Develop new or modified process formulations, define equipment requirements, review processing techniques, and influence manufacturing process design for semiconductors. Plan and optimize manufacturing processes, including equipment layout, workflow, and workforce utilization to meet product specifications efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop software and hardware for testing MEMS and Pressure Sensors for validation and production.
  2. Debug and troubleshoot to create production test programs.
  3. Understand component design details and implement tests to verify specifications.
  4. Create test plans to characterize products and identify improvements.
  5. Develop operational documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
  6. Provide hands-on support in IC manufacturing, including problem resolution and process improvements.

U.S. Person Requirements:

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or have protected status under U.S. law, due to export control regulations.

Compensation: The annual base salary range is provided as a guideline; actual offers depend on various factors including experience, education, skills, and market conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Security Clearance
  • At least 1 year of industry experience in development and product testing
  • At least 1 year of experience in electronics, circuits, and software development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical/Electronics Engineering background
  • Experience with pressure sensors and testing
  • Proficiency with test equipment (voltmeters, oscilloscopes, function generators)
  • Software skills in Visual Basic, C, LabView, Python
  • Knowledge of semiconductor testing practices
  • Mechanical skills and fixture development experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Experience with continuous improvement projects
