Senior Mechanical Engineer – Patriot PAC-2 Canister - Active Clearance Required - Remote

This position is based in Massachusetts with remote work options. The role involves supporting the Patriot PAC-2 Canister assembly and testing, requiring active security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary Raytheon engineering representative at Patriot PAC-2 Missile Canister sites, with occasional site embedding.
• Act as a hands-on "Working Lead" on-site.
• Travel frequently to West Plains, MO, and Jeddah, KSA, for supplier support.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines, suppliers, and other stakeholders to develop design solutions and resolve technical challenges.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and technical goals independently.
• Support issue resolution and conduct trade studies for technical decision-making.
• Apply technical problem-solving skills in a fast-paced team environment.
• Support supplier development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 3 years.
• Experience in supplier support and Patriot PAC-2 Canister design.
• Proficiency in CREO CAD.
• Active U.S. security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

• International supplier support experience.
• Advanced degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of military and commercial specifications.
• Experience with PDM or similar tools.

Additional Information
