About the Role

This position is within the engineering team, reporting to the test automation engineering manager. The Senior Test Tools Engineer should be detail-oriented, process-driven, independent, and self-motivated, with proven experience developing and supporting software in diverse enterprise environments for multiple platforms and technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Understand Keeper’s integration points with enterprise technologies such as LDAP, SSO, SCIM, and Cloud providers (e.g., Azure, Okta, Google), and identify relevant test integration points affecting operations and scalability.
2. Build test tools based on Keeper’s developer tools and SDKs, supporting integration and load testing scenarios to ensure robust, scalable solutions.
3. Develop and maintain automated web-based API tests, focusing on proper handling of positive and negative responses from API calls.
4. Write and maintain code/scripts in Java, .NET, Python, Perl, or Go to support automated testing, integration testing, and profiling client applications.
5. Collaborate using Jira and Confluence to process tickets, document work, and track testing progress and results.
6. Identify and test scalability challenges related to integrations, ensuring enterprise systems perform optimally under various loads.
7. Continuously analyze and improve test automation tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
8. Write tests covering the full API lifecycle, profiling client applications, and handling various response types.
9. Work with product teams, QA engineers, and developers to improve testability and seamless integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation, focusing on API and integration testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, Perl, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with SDKs for developing automated processes and system integration.
• Extensive experience with automated web API testing and client application profiling.
• Expertise in LDAP, SSO, SCIM, and Cloud providers (e.g., Azure, Okta, Google).
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Postman, and JUnit.
• Experience developing test tools for integration, load, and performance testing.
• Solid knowledge of scalable cloud architectures and enterprise system testing.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for tracking, documentation, and collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex system issues.
• Excellent communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
