CEC has experienced significant recent growth and has established itself as the go-to supplier for a diversified product line supporting a wide spectrum of markets from commercial products, military customers, to space research laboratories.
The Senior RF Systems Engineer will participate in and demonstrate proficiency in electrical engineering subjects such as RF, digital, and analog design. This is an individual contributor role in which the engineer is part of a cohesive team of engineers responsible for communications products for global customers. We are looking for an RF Engineer who appreciates working with engineering & production in a growing, positive work environment.
To provide technical initiative in all phases of product development for high power RF systems by performing the following functions:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, plus 8 years related experience preferred. Otherwise, an equivalent combination of relevant technical education and experience.
• At least 8 years of corporate Systems Engineering experience.
• Strong RF fundamentals such as impedance matching, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth and stability.
• Must be able to create schematics and wire lists.
• Excellent circuit simulation skills utilizing Spice or other simulation tools.
• Problem-solving and lab debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience in RF tuning and using RF instruments.
• US citizenship, due to government contracts.
