What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Take ownership of project-based financial reporting and journal entries
2. Assess and track project costs and measure performance towards project milestones
3. Lead capitalization implementation accounting initiatives
4. Ensure compliance with project contract accounting requirements
5. Conduct revenue recognition assessments based on lease accounting and revenue recognition requirements

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. 5+ years of corporate finance and accounting experience dealing with GAAP principles
2. Experience with project-based accounting in project development, EPC, construction, service contracts, and leases
3. CPA or CMA certification highly preferred
4. Expertise in Quickbooks or similar financial accounting software programs
5. Proficiency in MS Excel, including macro/VBA writing capabilities, data queries, and pivot tables
