What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Manage vendor enrollment into AP ERP systems and process AP invoices for energy storage projects
2. Oversee 1099 processing and W9 set-ups
3. Lead AP financial reporting, including accounting journals, ledgers, and vendor payment terms
4. Support project contract accounting requirements and prepare GAAP financial statements
5. Handle sales tax and use tax accounting processes

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Minimum of 5 years of accounting AP experience with GAAP principles
2. Experience managing project-based Accounts Payable systems related to Project Development, EPC, Construction, and Service Contracts
3. Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar financial accounting software
4. Strong vendor management skills relevant to Accounts Payable and invoice processing
5. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including macro/VBA writing, data queries, and pivot tables

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Experience with renewables such as solar, wind, battery storage, or energy storage projects
2. Understanding of national energy power market tariffs (WECC, PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO) and incentives
