What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Manage vendor enrollment into AP ERP systems and process AP invoices associated with energy storage projects
2. Oversee 1099 processing and W9 set-ups
3. Lead financial reporting for accounts payable, including accounting journals and vendor payment terms
4. Prepare GAAP financial statements and support financial accounting audits related to project contracts
5. Manage sales tax and use tax accounting processes within accounts payable

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience with a focus on GAAP principles
2. Proven experience managing project-based accounts payable systems, particularly in Project Development, EPC, Construction, and Service Contracts
3. Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar financial accounting software
4. Strong vendor management skills related to accounts payable and invoice processing
5. Advanced MS Excel skills, including macro/VBA writing capabilities, data queries, and pivot tables

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Experience with renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, battery storage, or energy storage is highly desirable
2. Familiarity with national energy power market tariffs (WECC, PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO) and incentives is beneficial
