Job summary

Leoforce in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced Sr Project Manager to lead complex tenant improvement and life sciences projects. You will manage project teams, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and oversee scheduling, cost control, and procurement.

This role requires 10+ years in commercial construction with a GC, strong communication, and proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and MS Office. A bachelor’s in engineering/construction management is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor.
• 7+ years leading project teams as a Project Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience with tenant improvements in life sciences, biotech, or healthcare is highly valued.
• Strong communication, estimating, and scheduling skills; proactive mindset.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and MS Office.

Job Details

Experience: Senior Level

Salary: $200,000 - $230,000 per year

• Manage project teams
• Participate in interviews to secure new work.
• Lead pricing, value engineering, site selection investigations, and building assessments.
• Develop site logistics plans.
• Create detailed project schedules in conjunction with superintendents.
• Serve as the client point of contact
• Establishing and maintaining client, subcontractor, and industry relationships.
• Oversee procurement, cost, and change management during the project.
• Lead weekly project meetings with client and subcontractors.
• Manage punch list and oversee project closeout.
• Manage all aspects of project accounting, financial projections and reporting, and AR collections.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager supervising project teams
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study preferred
• Extensive experience with commercial tenant improvements (life science, biotech, advanced technology, healthcare, and/or pharmaceutical project experience)
• Strong communication, project estimating, and scheduling skills while being a go-getter/driven
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software (Procore), Estimating Software (Bluebeam), and Scheduling Software (MS Project)
• Prefer experience managing multiple projects simultaneously over one large project at once
• Employment longevity/stability is a main concern. Also, being able to easily explain the legitimate reasons for leaving each employer
