Qualifications

  • Strong client-facing skills and ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external contractors.
  • Willingness to travel across the Western United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large-scale industrial manufacturing projects from concept through construction, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Serve as primary client-facing representative throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead scope development, budget planning, schedule management, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with manufacturing clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate engineering, construction, procurement, operations, and environmental teams.
  • Monitor performance and address risks related to schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Review contracts and deliverables to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Support business development by identifying follow-on work.

Project Manager – Industrial Manufacturing Capital Projects (West Coast Portfolio)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale industrial manufacturing projects across the Western United States. This role will serve as a key client-facing partner, responsible for managing project scope, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships while helping develop and expand a growing West Coast project portfolio.

The ideal candidate has a strong background delivering complex industrial manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, heavy industrial, or production facility projects and can effectively engage with executive stakeholders, operations teams, engineering groups, and contractors. This individual will play a critical role in establishing long‑term client relationships and identifying future project opportunities across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Manage large‑scale industrial manufacturing projects from concept through construction, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Serve as the primary client‑facing representative throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead scope development, budget planning, schedule management, and project reporting efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing clients, leadership teams, and key project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, construction, procurement, operations, and environmental groups.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address risks related to schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, change orders, and financial reporting.
  • Facilitate client meetings, executive presentations, project reviews, and stakeholder updates.
  • Review contracts, project deliverables, and consultant performance to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying follow‑on work and helping expand the organization’s West Coast presence.
  • Drive standardization, best practices, and continuous improvement across projects.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience managing complex industrial manufacturing or industrial construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, scope, and financial performance.
  • Strong client‑facing experience with the ability to build trust and develop long‑term relationships.
  • Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and external contractors.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations, facility infrastructure, and capital project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Western United States as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, food & beverage, automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, chemical, or related industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with capital improvement programs and portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of project controls, earned value management, and risk management practices.
  • Experience utilizing Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Power BI, or similar project management tools.
Desired Project Experience

Candidates with experience supporting the following project types are highly preferred:
