Job summary

Aegis Worldwide is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning and execution of capital and operational projects in an industrial setting. The role emphasizes scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives, with cross-functional collaboration across operations, engineering, and contractors.

You will manage schedules and budgets, identify risks, conduct site visits, and ensure documentation, safety, and regulatory compliance. Travel roughly 10% is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, science, business management or related field.
  • Minimum five years of project management experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
  • Experience managing large-scale capital projects with substantial budgets.
  • Strong scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting and financial management knowledge.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, AutoCAD or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with risk management, contractor coordination, commissioning and change management.
  • Willingness to travel about 10% domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical documentation, including drawings, contracts, change orders, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Provide technical leadership for equipment selection, testing, commissioning, and performance validation.
  • Ensure projects comply with safety, regulatory, quality, and engineering standards.
  • Use project management and engineering software to plan, track, document, and report progress.
  • Support capital improvements, capacity expansion, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of five years of project management experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or similar environment.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale capital projects, including projects with large budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, or similar project and engineering tools.
  • Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with project risk management, contractor coordination, commissioning, and change management.
  • PMP certification, Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, Lean/Six Sigma experience, or an advanced degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% domestically and internationally as required.
