Senior Project Manager

A Senior Project Manager will lead task forces on projects from inception through completion. The role is responsible for determining the purpose of a project, communicating with clients about their needs, securing funding, budgeting for each department, and planning the project’s final release. The manager will use delegation to accomplish large‑scale tasks and will step in to troubleshoot issues or connect people with the appropriate resources.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Ensure that projects remain in‑scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements.
• Create, manage, and distribute project communications artifacts such as charters, schedules, and budget.
• Provide project status updates at predetermined intervals to all stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to legally binding requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor activities related to subcontractors.
• Establish key project criteria metrics.
• Develop project control and reporting procedures to manage changes in the operational plan.
• Responsible for managing and motivating the team, and resolving team conflicts.
• Work to resolve technical and operational issues as required.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Possess solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through the project lifecycle.
• Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Learn quickly, understand, and apply new technologies.
• Maintain a positive, can‑do attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast‑paced work environment.

Education and Experience (Required Levels)

• Bachelor’s degree in management, quality engineering, science, or logistics, or equivalent experience.
• Project Management Certification.
• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services; or a PMP or related certification with 5 years of leading a PMO.
• Proven experience in project management, quality, manufacturing, and securing vendor contracts.
• 3+ years of utilizing strong analytical skills to understand business needs.
• In‑depth knowledge of the technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering.
• Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
• Ability to provide guidance to improve process efficiency.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
