Job summary

Kelvion is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure products and processes meet established quality standards. You will develop and implement quality control systems, monitor production, and troubleshoot issues to maintain product quality and safety.

The role involves data analysis, documentation, and collaboration with engineering, production, and other teams to uphold Kelvion's quality commitments and customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies (ISO 9001, ASME).
  • Ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in conducting internal audits per ISO 9001 and ASME Sect. VIII Div. I.
  • Attention to data collection, documentation, and testing procedures.

A Quality Engineer ensures products and processes meet established quality standards. They develop and implement quality control systems, monitor production, and troubleshoot issues to maintain product quality and safety. This involves data analysis, documentation, and collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Creating and establishing benchmarks for product quality, manufacturing processes, and testing procedures.
  • Tracking key metrics, conducting inspections, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and product quality.
  • Investigating product or production issues, identifying root causes, and developing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring that manufacturing processes and products meet all relevant safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems, including testing procedures, inspection protocols, and documentation requirements.
  • Working closely with engineering, production, and other teams to communicate quality standards, address issues, and implement solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and overall process effectiveness.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, Operational Framework.
Requirements (knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME).
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Identifying and resolving issues related to product quality, manufacturing processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Auditing Skills: Experience in conducting internal audits and assessments per ISO 9001 and ASME Sect. VIII Div. I.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in all aspects of quality control, including data collection, documentation, and testing procedures.
Education and Experience (required Levels)
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or logistics preferred, or 3‑5 years of experience in the field.
  • Prior experience in quality assurance, quality control and related fields.
  • Excellent statistical analysis and quality assurance skills. In‑depth knowledge of the technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering.
  • Good working knowledge of quality control standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to provide guidance to improve process efficiency.
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 and ASME Sect. VIII Div. I environment required.
  • ISO 9001 Auditor certification.
