Job Title: Sr. Process Engineer

Summary:

The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for developing technical deliverables for industrial process systems. This includes defining process design parameters such as design concepts, criteria, code interpretations, equipment design calculations, and specifications. The role oversees system design for industrial facilities in areas like midstream, gathering, gas treating, and oil and gas.

Accountabilities:

1. Work directly with clients to execute projects and develop new ones.
2. Provide written project progress reports for clients and management as appropriate.
3. Develop proposals for new projects.

Qualifications, Abilities, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Knowledge and experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in process design, with a strong understanding of systems and mechanical and/or chemical engineering practices and processes.
• Experience in designing process piping, tanking, blending, and chemical processes.
• Experience developing process parameters including mass flow, heat transfer, material balance, capacities, and rates.
• Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer.
• Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience as an engineer in consulting or operational roles.
• Ability to troubleshoot chemical manufacturing processes.
• Develop processes to separate components of liquids or gases or generate electrical currents using controlled chemical processes.
• Determine the most effective operation arrangements such as mixing, crushing, heat transfer, distillation, and drying.

Additional Information:

Direct hire position with a salary of $90k+.
