Reset Energy is a design and fabrication company specializing in equipment packages for the midstream and upstream segments of the Oil and Gas industry. The company offers customized solutions such as Amine Treating Systems, Nitrogen Rejection Units, Carbon Capture Units, and Gas Conditioning Systems.

Summary

The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for helping Reset Energy by primarily ensuring adequate process solutions are designed to meet client process requirements and directing engineering activities associated with execution of client orders. This is a remote role but applicant must reside in Texas, USA. There will be some travel (approx 15%) required to meet with customers for projects and assist with commissioning of facilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Generate/oversee production of process simulation of client inquiry application
• Simulation work in Cryogenics, Amine, TEG and liquids handling/stabilization
• Generate/oversee production of vessel/equipment vendor/shop specifications & contact list
• Oversee vessel/equipment requests for quote both externally and internally.
• Engage engineered equipment vendors to ensure process requirements and commercial terms are met
• Generate/oversee production of skid/module sketches for estimate modeling & P&ID basis
• Generate/oversee production of proposals and cost models of client inquiries
• Develop/oversee development of P&IDs for client orders
• Engage mechanical designers to develop accurate P&IDs, models, ISOs, and GAs
• Size/oversee sizing of vessels, towers, exchangers, coolers, lines, control valves, PSVs, regulators, etc.
• Develop/cost estimate/account for/publish change orders for conventional client orders
• Develop/oversee development of process control philosophies
• Participate in PHAs associated with client orders
• Ensure compliance with best engineering practices
• Ensure delivered products meet or exceed client order expectations

Required Skills

A Bachelors’ in Chemical Engineering from an ABET Accredited university. Proficiency with process simulators, equipment sizing software, and Microsoft Office. Interpersonal skills to communicate with clients as well as colleagues and direct team members. 5-10 years’ experience in a related field of competency.
