Quality Control (QC) - Sr. Process Engineer
REMOTE

Are you an experienced Process Engineer interested in extending your career by ensuring the quality of water and wastewater design with the best firm in the industry?

Join our Water Business Line (WBL) QC Team. You will perform quality control reviews on designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure. Responsibilities include reviewing process modeling, hydraulic modeling, design calculations, facility and equipment layouts, and coordinating with vendors, regulatory agencies, and support disciplines. Occasional travel may be required.

Perform QC review for:

• Water and wastewater treatment processes
• Process modeling and development of criteria based on water and wastewater data
• Process evaluation, selection, and implementation
• Hydraulic analysis of treatment plants
• Chemical storage and feed systems
• Blower systems and sizing
• Process flow diagrams
• Piping and instrumentation diagrams
• Specification and contract documents

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or biosystems/agricultural engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Master's degree in a related engineering discipline
• 20+ years of experience designing water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
• Experience with biological modeling software (BioWin, GPS-X, Sumo)
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with Bluebeam software
• Experience with hydraulic modeling software like Visual Hydraulics

Our QC Team offers flexible work arrangements, including full-time or part-time, remote or hybrid options. Positions report directly to the Quality Manager for Garver's WBL.
