Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr Principal Systems Engineer to support the Guidance/Control IPT for the AARGM Production program. This on-site role in Northridge, CA requires a current DoW Secret clearance and deep experience in missile system engineering.

Ideal candidates will have lifecycle experience across subsystems such as RF, guidance, navigation, control, and interface with supply chain and program management. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in an Engineering discipline with 8+ years of systems engineering experience OR an MS with 6+ years in the same field.
• Experience in production process/environment.
• Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, CAMEO.
• Experience in root cause correction action processes and execution.
• Experience in leading a technical team to complete engineering efforts.
• Experience in configuration management and product lifecycle management tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead the GS/CS IPT and provide systems engineering support as part of a troubleshooting team with systems matter expertise.
• Provide engineering solutions to a variety of technical problems and projects.
• Develop/update requirements, test plans and procedures for Production Engineering projects.
• Perform data mining for failure and ATP data variability analysis.
• Lead failures analysis and corrective action investigations on RF/electronics sensors.
• Generate and present data analysis results in vu-graphs for meetings.
