Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Northridge, CA is seeking an Engineer Guidance Navigation Control Level 2 or 3 to support Advance Weapons. This on-site role requires a DoD Secret clearance and involves mission trajectory design, simulation, and analysis across air vehicle systems.

You’ll develop CONOPs, TTPs, and models, work with cross-functional engineers and customer leadership, and contribute to proposal efforts while advancing toward Top Secret opportunities. Travel up to 10% may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with Guidance, Navigation, and Flight Control algorithms.
• Experience with Tracking algorithms and sensor modeling.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive full cycle of mission trajectories from requirements to operations.
• Perform trajectory design, optimization, and dispersion analysis for air-to-ground and air-to-air missiles.
• Develop flight constants and guidance parameters to meet mission requirements.
