Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) is seeking a Sr Principal Systems Engineer to support the Guidance/Control IPTs for the AARGM Production program. This on-site role in Northridge, CA requires a current DoD Secret clearance and missile/weapon system engineering experience.

The ideal candidate brings systems engineering lifecycle expertise across subsystems like RF/sensors, guidance, navigation, and control, with strong leadership and data-analysis skills to drive program success.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline with 8+ years of systems engineering experience; or a Masters with 6+ years of the same experience.
Experience in production process/environment.
Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS and CAMEO.
Current U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Responsabilités

Lead the GS/CS IPT and provide systems engineering support across sensor, software, mechanical, electrical areas.
Develop and update requirements, test plans, and procedures for production projects.
Perform data mining for failure databases and ATP data variability analysis.
Lead Failure Trend Analysis and Root Cause investigations on RF/electronics sensor systems.
Generate data analyses and present results in vu-graphs for meetings.
Communicate program status with team members, supervisors, and external customers.
Support EVMS tracking, CAM activities, and program cost/schedule objectives.
