Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Manager 3 to lead AARGM and AARGM-ER Missile development programs within the Advanced Weapons Business Unit in Northridge, CA. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and on-site work with no remote option.

The Development Program Manager will be responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance, ensuring adherence to defense regulations and standards while coordinating with the Director of AARGM and AARGM-ER Development and Integration Programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of development program management experience OR Master’s degree and 8 years of development program management experience.
• Experience leading high performing, cross-functional development teams in aerospace/defense.
• Active and current US Government DoD Secret clearance with ability to get cleared for SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional IPTs to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
• Develop customer relationships to create further opportunities.
• Develop proposals and business plans for long-term success.
• Establish a program organization that addresses customer requirements and integrates sub-organizations.
• Measure and report program performance.
• Deliver presentations to customers and management.
• Negotiate contracts, changes, budgets, and schedule milestones.
