Job summary

Auria seeks a Sr. Principal Software Engineer to lead design, development, testing, deployment, and debugging of complex software systems for the BOA Program. This on-site role in Boulder, CO requires strong leadership and multi-language expertise (C/C++, Python, Java) in a Linux environment.

You will mentor engineers, influence architecture, and collaborate across teams while adhering to Agile practices and utilizing Atlassian tools. A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Requires DoD Secret clearance to start and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Bachelor’s in STEM with 9+ years of related experience, Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, deploy, and debug software applications.
• Research and implement solutions to complex software problems with technical leadership across the team.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and perform code reviews.
• Coordinate defects with the test team and ensure quality.
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction of components.
