Job summary

Auria Space is seeking a Software Engineer to support the BOA program in Boulder, CO. This onsite role focuses on design, development, testing, deployment, and debugging of multi-language software in a collaborative team.

As Software Engineer 2/3, you will contribute across the full lifecycle, use Linux, C/C++, Python, and Java, and participate in Agile sprints. A DoD clearance (TS/SCI) is required, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with related software development experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate new software features with existing systems.
• Develop software using Agile methodologies and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Utilize Jira to document user stories, bugs, and enhancements.
• Provide software engineering support for multi-language systems (C/C++, Python, Java).
• Analyze and improve usability, performance, and maintainability through refactoring and defect resolution.
• Coordinate with test team to integrate and troubleshoot defects.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
