Job summary

Auria seeks a Software Engineer to support BMDS OPIR architecture in a Boulder, CO on-site role. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and debug software across multi-language systems (C/C++, Python, Java) in a collaborative team, leveraging Agile practices and Jira for tracking.

Qualifications include a STEM degree with 2+ years of software experience, or a STEM Master/PhD with varying experience, and a DoD Secret clearance with potential TS/SCI. Expect travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of software development experience.
• Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of related experience.
• Active in-scope DoD Secret clearance to start and TS/SCI clearance possible.
• Experience in a Linux environment and proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Strong OOP skills and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate new software features with existing systems.
• Develop software using Agile methodologies and participate in sprints.
• Use Jira to document user stories, bugs, and enhancements.
• Provide software engineering support for multi-language systems (C/C++, Python, Java).
• Analyze and improve usability, performance, and maintainability through refactoring.
• Coordinate with test team to integrate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
• Contribute to full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
