Job summary

Auria is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our hybrid team focused on web-based microservices for space ops in a containerized environment. The role supports both frontend and backend development on cloud-native architectures.

Hybrid work in Colorado Springs, CO, with possible duties in Dayton, OH or Herndon, VA. Requires DoD security awareness and strong Agile experience; Top Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud-native microservices and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source code repositories (GitHub, GitLab, Jira).
• DoD security practices and Top Secret clearance preferred.
• NASA GMAT scripting experience is a plus.
• Front end and backend development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops documents analyzes tests integrates debugs and maintains system architectures and software to provide scalable solutions composed of custom and opensource software.
• Participates in Agile Teams to plan develop enhancements and maintain software
• Integrates commercial solutions including opensource software into cloud native environment.
• Develops intuitive user interfaces to ease employment of technically complex services
