Job description

Location: United States | Nationwide Travel Highly Preferred

• Leading national General Contractor seeking Senior Project Managers and Project Executives to lead large-scale, ground-up data center projects and oversee complex, multi-phase construction programs throughout the United States.


• These opportunities provide senior leadership across project delivery, financial performance, client relationships and team development. Depending on experience, responsibilities may include direct leadership of a major project or executive oversight across multiple projects and project management teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive construction management experience in data centers, complex industrial, manufacturing or other technically demanding construction


• Proven experience leading large, ground-up projects, multi-building campuses or multiple concurrent projects


• Experience managing and developing Project Managers and partnering with senior field leadership


• Strong command of project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and profitability


• Experience directing preconstruction planning, procurement strategy, subcontractor buyout and contract negotiations


• Ability to evaluate project risk, manage contractual exposure and resolve escalated commercial and execution issues


• Experience overseeing master schedules, resource allocation and recovery strategies across major project phases


• Strong understanding of civil, structural, architectural and complex electrical and mechanical scopes


• Experience aligning long-lead equipment procurement, construction milestones, commissioning and phased turnover


• Ability to serve as a senior client contact, maintain executive relationships and support repeat business


• Experience establishing accountability for safety, quality, schedule and financial results across project teams


• Direct mission-critical experience preferred; substantial experience leading complex technical construction will also be considered


• Open to nationwide travel assignments


• Core Build: Ground-up data center campuses, including sitework, concrete, structural steel, building envelope, electrical and mechanical infrastructure, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, cooling systems, controls, commissioning and phased turnover.
