Job summary

Metric DCX, a national general contractor expanding its data center and mission-critical construction platform across the US, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take a leadership role across major data center projects.

The Senior Project Manager will own the commercial and operational delivery of large-scale data center developments, leading project teams and acting as a key interface between the contractor, client and project partners.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data center or mission-critical construction projects.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting and contract-management capabilities.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and interfacing with clients.
• Exposure to MEP-intensive environments and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large-scale data center projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, schedules and overall commercial performance.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers and wider teams.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contracts, change management and performance.
• Coordinate with field leadership, design teams, trade partners and commissioning teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and implement schedule and budget strategies.
• Drive high standards across safety, quality and execution.

We are working with a leading national general contractor that is expanding its data center and mission-critical construction platform across the US. As part of this continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to take a leadership role across major data center projects.

The Role

The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of the commercial and operational delivery of large-scale data center developments, leading project teams and acting as a key interface between the contractor, client and project partners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead delivery of large-scale data center projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, schedules and overall commercial performance.
