Job description

Responsibilities

Supporting the Kentucky region. The ideal candidate will be next to the Kentucky market.

The Senior Provider Recruiter is responsible for all activities related to physician and Advanced Practice Provider recruiting, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and site visits. This position supports hospitals and clinics in the Kentucky Region and nearby areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying potential candidates using various sourcing methodologies, managing a database of prospective providers, and working with medical staff and management to identify candidates.
  2. Utilizing approved sourcing agencies and search firms, and corresponding with provider associations and medical programs.
  3. Investigating clinical rotation programs and acting as an ambassador at recruitment fairs and residency programs.
  4. Developing practice recruitment profiles in collaboration with each physician practice or group.
  5. Overseeing candidate review, screening, and communication regarding practice opportunities and community details.
  6. Coordinating provider site visits, including itinerary development tailored to candidates and their families.
  7. Assisting with onboarding, credentialing, orientation, and community integration, including housing and employment support.
  8. Establishing systems to measure recruitment progress and reporting results regularly.
  9. Developing sourcing strategies and reviewing recruitment expenses.
  10. Collaborating with team members and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

The role requires a minimum of 8 years of direct experience working with physicians, ARNPs, and Physician Assistants. A BA/BS degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills and abilities include:

  • Superior interpersonal skills and professional relationship maintenance.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • High organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of medical group and hospital practices is beneficial.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal, reading, and written communication skills.
