Job summary

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking a Right-of-Way Regulatory Permit Agent for roles based in Texas. This remote position requires occasional travel to Houston and project sites.

The candidate must have experience dealing with local and state regulatory agencies and be capable of coordinating with multiple teams to obtain permits and ensure compliance. The role emphasizes strong communication, meticulous paperwork, and collaboration with survey and drilling crews, along with proficient MS Office

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' related experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of survey drawings and alignments sheets.
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Experience with regulatory agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that permits are acquired correctly and promptly.
• Communicate with the client regarding agreement language, compensation, insurance requirements, bonds, and long lead items.
• Collaborate with permit agents, survey crew, drill crew, and recording crew to maximize efficiencies.
• Participate in permit project start-up meetings and ensure understanding of topics discussed.
• Complete all necessary paperwork.
• Research ownership for surface and/or minerals.
• Work with project manager, project engineers, and surveyors to obtain calculations, pipeline specifications, and exhibits.
• Support surveying, drilling, and recording phases, ensuring permit stipulations are followed and addressing issues.
• Demonstrate strong computer use with MS Office applications and database tools.
• Work well in a team or individually.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring a Right-of-Way Regulatory Permit Agent in Texas. The individual we seek must be a self-starter who can perform the below tasks. This person must have experience dealing with local government agencies and state regulatory agencies. This position is remote but will require travel to Houston, TX and project locations.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Ensures that permits are acquired correctly and promptly
• Communicates directly with the client regarding agreement language, compensation, insurance requirements, bonds, and long lead items
• Collaborates and communicates with other permit agents, survey crew, drill crew, and recording crew to maximize efficiencies
• Participates in the permit project start-up meetings and ensure an absolute understanding of all topics discussed
• Completes all necessary paperwork
• Research ownership for surface and/or minerals
• Works directly with the project manager, project engineers, and surveyors to receive the necessary documents such as calculations, pipeline specifications, and exhibits
• Supports surveying, drilling, and recording phases, making sure permit stipulations are followed, and addressing problems as the issues arise
• Demonstrate excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database use.
• Able to work well in a team environment or an individual role.
• Other duties as assigned or required

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5years’ relative experience.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledgeable about survey drawings, engineering drawings, and alignments sheets.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks
• Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
• Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.

• Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).

Pay Rate

• This position offers a competitive 6 day per week pay rate plus per diem for qualifying days.
