Job summary

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking a Right-of-Way Regulatory Permit Agent in Texas. This remote position requires travel to Houston and project locations, with responsibilities spanning permit acquisition, client communications, and coordination with survey and drilling crews.

The candidate should have at least five years of relevant experience and a strong ability to work both autonomously and in teams while navigating local and state regulatory agencies. Health benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ relative experience.
• Knowledgeable about survey drawings, engineering drawings, and alignments sheets.
• Experience dealing with local government agencies and state regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure permits are acquired correctly and promptly.
• Communicate with client regarding agreement language, compensation, insurance requirements, bonds, and long lead items.
• Collaborate with permit agents, survey crew, drill crew, and recording crew to maximize efficiencies.
• Participate in permit project start-up meetings and ensure understanding of topics discussed.
• Complete all necessary paperwork.
• Research ownership for surface and/or minerals.
• Work with project team to receive documents such as calculations, pipeline specifications, and exhibits.
• Support surveying, drilling, and recording phases while ensuring permit stipulations are followed.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and database use.
• Work well in a team environment or individually.
• Other duties as assigned.

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring a Right-of-Way Regulatory Permit Agent in Texas. The individual we seek must be a self-starter who can perform the below tasks.This person must have experience dealing with local government agencies and state regulatory agencies.This position is remote but will require travel to Houston, TX and project locations.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Ensures that permits are acquired correctly and promptly
• Communicates directly with the client regarding agreement language, compensation, insurance requirements, bonds, and long lead items
• Collaborates and communicates with other permit agents, survey crew, drill crew, and recording crew to maximize efficiencies
• Participates in the permit project start-up meetings and ensure an absolute understanding of all topics discussed
• Completes all necessary paperwork
• Research ownership for surface and/or minerals
• Works directly with the project manager, project engineers, and surveyors to receive the necessary documents such as calculations, pipeline specifications, and exhibits
• Supports surveying, drilling, and recording phases, making sure permit stipulations are followed, and addressing problems as the issues arise
• Demonstrate excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database use.
• Able to work well in a team environment or an individual role.
• Other duties as assigned or required

Pay Rate

• This position offers a competitive 6 day per week pay rate plus per diem for qualifying days.
