Job summary

Lonestar Land Services is seeking experienced Permitting Agents to staff projects in the Houston area. This is a NON per diem position and you must reside in the Houston/North Houston area. You must have experience with utility permits as stated.

Responsibilities include negotiating right-of-way, acquiring surface and damage settlements, coordinating with survey/engineering/project management, and maintaining thorough documentation to meet targets and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of right of way and permitting experience for pipelines and overhead electric.
• Knowledge of TXDOT, railroad crossings, county and city permitting.
• Highly organized with strong documentation accuracy.
• Background check must be passed.

Job Description

Lonestar Land Services is seeking experienced Permitting Agentsto staff projects in the Houston area. This is a NON per diem position so you will need to reside in the Houston/North Houston area. You MUST have experience with utility permits as stated below.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and secure right-of-way, lease and easement agreements with various entities.
• Acquire surface agreements, access agreements,and damage settlements as required.
  
• Coordinate with survey, engineering, and projectmanagement teams.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and reportingthroughout the acquisition process.
• Meet acquisition targets and project deadlineswith limited supervision.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct Right-of-Way acquisition AND Permitting experience.
  
• Experience on pipeline, midstream, utility, orinfrastructure projects.
• Willing to work in the areas you note in thefollowing application.
  
• You must have experience with TxDOT, Railroads, Overhead Electric, Counties and other government, municipal and railroad entities.
  

Requirements

QualificationRequirements(minimum and preferredrequirements):

• 2+ yearsof experience in right of way, title, landacquisition, or real estate, specifically in acquiring permits for pipelines and overhead electric.
  
• Good working knowledge of various entities such as TXDoT/RULIS, Overhead Electric, County and City Permitting, Encroachment and Crossing of other Utilities, Union Pacific and BNSF RR crossings, Texas General Land Office leases and others.
  
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail anddocumentation accuracy
• Must be able to pass a background check.
