Job summary

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking a Right-of-Way Regulatory Permit Agent in Texas. The role is remote but travel to Houston and project sites will be required. You will manage permit acquisition, coordinate with clients and project teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential. Experience with local and state agencies and ability to work autonomously or in a team will help you succeed in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' relative experience.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledgeable about survey drawings, engineering drawings, and alignments sheets.
• Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel to Houston and project locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure permits are acquired correctly and promptly.
• Communicate with the client regarding agreement language, compensation, insurance requirements, bonds, and long lead items.
• Collaborates with permit agents, survey crews, drill crews, and recording crews to maximize efficiencies.
• Participates in permit project start-up meetings and ensures understanding of topics discussed.
• Completes all necessary paperwork.
• Research ownership for surface and/or minerals.
• Works with project managers, engineers, and surveyors to obtain documents such as calculations, pipeline specs, and exhibits.
• Supports surveying, drilling, and recording phases while ensuring permit stipulations are followed.
• Demonstrates excellent computer knowledge through MS Office and database use.
• Able to work well in a team or individually.
• Other duties as assigned.
