We are seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Manager to oversee aircraft maintenance, modifications, and logistics within our division. This role emphasizes product structure, scheduling, critical path analysis, and sequencing of manufacturing orders, with a strong focus on compliance, safety, and quality. Leadership in operational excellence and continuous improvement is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations (FAA, DoD, DCMA, AFI 21-101, 8210.1C, 8210.1D).
• Develop and maintain detailed product structures and iterative breakdowns for maintenance and modifications.
• Create and manage project schedules, critical paths, and milestones.
• Oversee sequencing of manufacturing orders aligned with project timelines and resources.
• Supervise maintenance, modification, and logistics teams.
• Implement continuous improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment.
• Maintain safety, quality, and performance metrics, promoting ongoing enhancements.
• Develop training programs for staff to ensure skill and knowledge updates.
• Enforce safety protocols and quality management systems tailored to IAS needs.
• Conduct safety drills and quality inspections regularly.
• Maintain accurate records of all activities.
• Prepare reports for senior management.
• Manage logistics to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance, Engineering, or related; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in aircraft maintenance, modifications, logistics, including 6+ years in management.
• Extensive knowledge of aviation regulations and standards.
• Proven leadership of large operational teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in logistics and maintenance management software.
• Experience with C-LCSP, FAA Type Certificates, CFR Part 91.409(e), and FAA A&P certification.
• Experience with FAA repair stations, ETOPS programs, and MEL management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
