Senior Manager - Operations Support, Home Claims (18 Month Contract)

The Role

You will be part of our Home Claims team responsible for supporting those managing claims for direct customers on behalf of our partner brands.

The Operations Support team supports the entire Home Claims process and the Head of Home Claims by operationalising initiatives, identifying process improvements, managing knowledge, risk, incident management, and providing technical coaching and referral services to enhance team capability.

Reporting to the Head of Home Claims, your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Identifying opportunities to improve the performance of the Home Claims teams to meet KPIs and financial targets.
  2. Assisting in developing, managing, and monitoring the implementation of strategic plans and roadmaps for Home Claims Direct.
  3. Driving initiatives with the Home Claims Leadership Team to improve culture, process effectiveness, customer satisfaction, supplier management, leakage, and risk mitigation.
  4. Enhancing technical expertise across staff, reducing leakage, and improving consistency, effectiveness, and efficiency through coaching and referral services.
  5. Managing onboarding processes to improve retention and speed to competency for new staff.
  6. Ensuring compliance with all insurance codes of practice, laws, and regulations.
  7. Providing leadership, direction, and training to in-house claims professionals.
About You

Extensive leadership experience in claims management, with a strong technical background in insurance and policy interpretation. Strategic thinker with excellent planning skills. Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently under pressure.
