Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in the United States seeks a Sr. Nurse Supervisor to lead the occupational health program at a dedicated facility.

You will provide high-quality nursing care, enforce health policies, and guide the team through injury prevention, workers’ compensation, and OSHA compliance. This role requires an active RN license, a preferred bachelor’s degree, and 2 years of management in occupational health or a related field.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years management experience in occupational health or related nursing field preferred.
• Experience in occupational health nursing is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site with some travel as needed.

Sr. Nurse Supervisor

The Sr. Nurse Supervisor is responsible for providing high-quality professional nursing care and leading the occupational health programs at an assigned facility. This role oversees the implementation and maintenance of facility-level occupational health policies, procedures, and nursing practices within the appropriate scope.

Job Requirements

• Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required
• Bachelor s degree preferred
• 2 years management experience and knowledge of occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred
• Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and independent decision making and problem-solving skills
• 1 to 2 domestic trips per year
• Must be able to walk unassisted through the plant, quickly respond to medical emergencies, climb stairs, assess team members swiftly, and perform CPR if required as well as ensuring team members and supervisors are following prescribed modified restricted duty requirements
• Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm n w/on call
• Should be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Need to demonstrate responsible use of approved AI tools, including safeguarding sensitive information, adhering to company policies, and validating AI-generated outputs
• Individual Contributors should demonstrate the ability to integrate AI into daily work, improve efficiency through AI-enabled solutions, evaluate outputs critically, and apply professional judgment when using AI
