Job summary

A technology consulting firm is looking for a skilled SharePoint Administrator to manage and optimize their SharePoint environment. Responsibilities include system configuration, user support, performance monitoring, and integration with Microsoft 365 tools. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and be able to provide training to end-users. This is a mid-senior level contract position based in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing SharePoint environments, both on-premises and SharePoint Online.

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented SharePoint Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our SharePoint environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the platform’s performance, security, and usability across the organization. This role involves both technical and strategic responsibilities, including system configuration, user support, and integration with other Microsoft 365 services.

• Install, configure, and maintain SharePoint environments (on‑premises and/or SharePoint Online).
• Manage user permissions, site collections, and content databases.
• Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance, updates, and patches.
• Develop and implement governance policies, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint‑related issues and provide tier‑2/3 support.
• Collaborate with developers to deploy custom SharePoint solutions, workflows, and forms.
• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
• Maintain documentation for system architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Provide training and support to end‑users to enhance adoption and effective use.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and data protection standards.
