A successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to design, deliver, and manage the full lifecycle of Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions, with a primary focus on SharePoint Online. This role ensures the security, governance, and stability of the SharePoint environment to enable effective knowledge sharing, teamwork, workflow automation, and sustained business value.

- SharePoint Administration and Governance: Manage the overall SharePoint environment, including site collections, permissions, guest access, and audit controls to ensure a well-organized and governed platform.
- Security and Compliance: In partnership with the cross teams, configure and enforce security policies, including data access controls and external sharing settings. Utilize Microsoft Purview for data classification and governance to protect sensitive information.
- Backup and Restore: Serve as the subject matter expert for SharePoint and OneDrive backup and restore procedures, including the creation and maintenance of step-by-step documentation.
- Technical Support and Modernization: Provide expert-level technical support for SharePoint-related incidents escalated from the ServiceDesk. Lead efforts in modernizing the SharePoint platform and remediating any identified risks.
- API and Platform Integration: Lead Graph API configuration for secure, least-privilege integrations. Explore and scale offerings within the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to enhance business processes connected to SharePoint.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, including security, infrastructure, and application development, to ensure the comprehensive and secure delivery of Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Roadmap and Strategy: Work with the Microsoft 365 Product Owner to develop, manage, and implement solutions roadmap, leveraging new platform innovations as they are released.
- Content Migration: Assist with the migration of content from various sources (e.g., file servers, Google Drive, Dropbox) to the Microsoft 365 environment as designed.
- Training and Adoption: Assist with training and adoption of new Microsoft 365 solutions, particularly those involving SharePoint, including the creation of training plans, materials, and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in an IT role focused on systems administration or collaboration platform support.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering a Microsoft 365 environment, with at least 2 years directly focused on SharePoint Online administration, including site collection management, permissions, and hub site architecture.
- Demonstrated understanding of collaboration governance principles, including permissions models, external sharing policies, content lifecycle management, and secure information architecture.
- Working knowledge of how SharePoint Online integrates with core Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Purview, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph API.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral communication, and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft 365 Certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) or certifications related to the Power Platform (e.g., PL-100: Microsoft Power Platform App Maker).
- Advanced proficiency with the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), with proven experience designing and building business process automation workflows integrated with SharePoint lists and libraries.
- Hands-on experience planning and executing a large-scale content migration to SharePoint Online from sources like SharePoint on-premises, file shares, or other cloud storage platforms.
- Deep understanding of modern SharePoint information architecture, including the design and implementation of hub sites, content types, managed metadata, and search optimization.
- Experience using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for custom web parts and extensions, or experience working with developers on such projects.
