Job summary

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Media Technology Support Engineer – L3 to help run file-based media workflows including encoding, transcoding, AutoQC, storage and content delivery.

You will diagnose complex production issues, collaborate with engineering teams, and keep workflows reliable and well-documented. The role requires strong troubleshooting, scripting and cloud experience across Linux/Windows and AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in media technology, broadcast, streaming, or content supply chain.
Strong knowledge of video, audio, and timed-text workflows.
Experience with media containers and codecs such as MXF, MOV, MP4, H.264, H.265, ProRes, AAC, AC-3/E-AC-3.
Experience with Linux/Windows Server.
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with JSON/XML, APIs, and scripting.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Experience with Jira/Slack and customer-facing technical support.

Responsibilities

Provide L3 support for media technology and file-based workflows.
Troubleshoot transcoding, AutoQC, encoding, storage, and content delivery issues.
Collaborate with engineering teams on RCA and resolution.
Maintain media platforms for quality, performance, and reliability.
Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
Support automation using APIs, JSON/XML, command-line tools, and scripting.
Work with Linux/Windows and cloud environments.
