Job summary

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Media Technology Support Engineer – L3 to help run file-based media workflows including encoding, transcoding, AutoQC, storage and content delivery.

You will diagnose complex production issues, collaborate with engineering teams, and keep workflows reliable and well-documented. The role requires strong troubleshooting, scripting and cloud experience across Linux/Windows and AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in media technology, broadcast, streaming, or content supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of video, audio, and timed-text workflows.
• Experience with media containers and codecs such as MXF, MOV, MP4, H.264, H.265, ProRes, AAC, AC-3/E-AC-3.
• Experience with Linux/Windows Server.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with JSON/XML, APIs, and scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience with Jira/Slack and customer-facing technical support.
