Job summary

Haivision MCS in Atlanta, GA seeks a detail-oriented Production Technician to support assembly, testing, and release of mission-critical video and communication systems. You will verify hardware, assemble components, image OS, install software, and ensure quality control across production cycles.

The role collaborates with engineering, operations, and quality teams to meet specs and schedules, contributing to process improvements and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical training in electronics or IT preferred.
• CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on production, systems integration, IT hardware, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with PC hardware assembly, GPU/card installation, Windows OS imaging and deployment.
• Working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals, switches, and hardware connectivity.
• Experience following SOPs, performing QC, and maintaining build documentation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Final System Assembly: perform final system assembly including installation of GPUs/cards, imaging Windows OS, applying licenses, and configuring software.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: license, configure, and test components; conduct QC at multiple stages to ensure deployment readiness.
• Network Equipment Handling: set up and maintain IT hardware including switches and routers for video processing equipment.
• Inventory Management: keep a clean, organized workspace suitable for high-value components.
• Process Adherence: follow and help improve SOPs across multiple product lines; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Issue Reporting & Collaboration: raise productivity/quality concerns and work with QA to implement improvements.
• Continuous Feedback: provide feedback to supervisors/engineers on bottlenecks and equipment functionality.
• Time Management: perform reliably in a fast-paced environment to meet production deadlines.
