Jobot is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role. You will lead mechanical design across commercial, healthcare, theme parks, and other complex building projects, ensuring code compliance and delivering high‑quality building systems solutions.

The ideal candidate has an ABET‑accredited engineering degree, a PE license, 8–10+ years in MEP consulting, and proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Job description

We are Seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer to Join our Team. Projects include Commercial, Healthcare, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Healthcare, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family, etc. This person will lead mechanical design efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality solutions for complex building systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University
• PE License Required
• 8 to 10+ years of experience with an MEP or Engineering Consulting firm designing HVAC building systems on complex projects
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experienced in Commercial Buildings, Healthcare Projects, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Healthcare, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family, etc.
• Develop HVAC designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Coordinate HVAC design requirements with architecture, structure, and other disciplines.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and mechanical system layouts, and detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Experience with direct client contact and fostering those relationships. Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.
• Support business development initiatives by assisting the RFP process and interview process.
• Actively engage in community and/or industry-specific organizations.
• Experience and interest in Sustainable Building Design
• LEED AP or LEED GA with previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process.
• An appreciation and understanding of architectural design and how architects work and think.
