Jobot is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a PE license to join our national engineering consulting team in the Dallas area. You will lead mechanical design for complex building systems across commercial, healthcare, theme parks, and high-rise projects, ensuring code compliance and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8–10+ years of experience with an MEP/engineering consulting firm designing HVAC for complex projects.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Commercial Buildings, Healthcare, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts for complex building systems and ensure code compliance.
• Develop HVAC designs from concept through construction completion.
• Coordinate HVAC design requirements with architecture, structure, and other disciplines.
• Prepare engineering design calculations, layouts, and detailed reports.
• Engage with clients directly and support business development activities (RFPs and interviews).

Projects include Commercial, Healthcare, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Healthcare, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family, etc. This person will lead mechanical design efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality solutions for complex building systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited College or University
• PE License Required
• 8 to 10+ years of experience with an MEP or Engineering Consulting firm designing HVAC building systems on complex projects
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experienced in Commercial Buildings, Healthcare Projects, Theme Parks, Federal, Entertainment, Healthcare, Aviation, High-Rise, Multi-Family, etc.
• Develop HVAC designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Coordinate HVAC design requirements with architecture, structure, and other disciplines.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and mechanical system layouts, and detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Experience with direct client contact and fostering those relationships. Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.
• Support business development initiatives by assisting the RFP process and interview process.
• Actively engage in community and/or industry-specific organizations.
• Experience and interest in Sustainable Building Design
• LEED AP or LEED GA with previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process.
• An appreciation and understanding of architectural design and how architects work and think.
