Sub-Zero, Inc. is building a new Cedar Rapids facility and seeks a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer to lead the setup, launch, and ongoing support of the assembly area. You will work cross-functionally to plan, execute, and optimize the process for safe, efficient production.
The role emphasizes process development, equipment qualification, and collaboration with industrial engineering to ensure readiness and continuous improvement across the line.

This position requires a pre‑employment drug/alcohol test and background check, which will be administered after a conditional job offer is extended. Bachelors or better in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Ability to interface with all levels of the organization (internally and externally)
Experience analyzing product flow analysis and generating efficient layouts
Experience with Task Based Safety risk assessment and validation process
Experience with the assembly of highly cosmetic product
Experience with time standard and work instruction generation
Thorough knowledge of product conveyance and material handling systems. Including robust system design and design for functional safety
Minimum of 5 years, working in a Manufacturing Engineering role with progressive growth in responsibilities, 10+ years preferred
Working knowledge of GD&T principles
Experience with MES and ERP systems
Experience installing and starting up various assembly processes
Understanding of MTM time standard generation
Experience with SPC
