Job description

Summary of Duties: Manage Salesforce environments including Production, Full and Partial Development Sandboxes. Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring the proper structures are in place for the on-time delivery of high-quality product releases. Deliver results on complex development projects involving teams across the Product Development department and SVB as a whole. Resolve employee conflicts through creative means to assure employee support and accountability to timely and quality project execution. Perform hands-on configuration in alignment with enterprise strategy, change management and deployment processes. Implement new products and packages within Salesforce & nCino. Communicate updates throughout the company. Collaborate with internal customers and departmental leadership. Drive process improvement changes to ensure high productivity and quality of services provided. Maintain high-level familiarity with other IT system/business application capabilities. Partner with Architecture and the Salesforce Product Owner to understand current and future strategies and objectives. Partner with various teams to research, resolve, and document production issues. Align architecture and design decisions with SVB's architecture guidelines and standards. Gather business requirements working with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and end users. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.

Qualifications: Position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation.

Position requires experience with:

• Salesforce experience including both classic and lightning versions;
• Experience with Financial Services Cloud Salesforce version;
• nCino Managed packages with Salesforce Platform;
• Salesforce Administrator certification and/or Developer certification;
• Modern software design principles, concepts, and best practices;
• Experience in design and development of custom solutions on the Force.com platform including work in Apex, VisualForce, Lightning, application integration patterns using Mulesoft and other ETL tools;
• Experience in configuring / customizing standard SFDC objects such as Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, Reports & Dashboards, with experience building custom objects & solutions;
• Experience in bulk data migration from Excel & Legacy Systems to SFDC using Apex Data Loader, Demand Tools, and Import Wizard;
• Knowledge of data structures, data modeling and database schema;
• Experience with technologies integral to Salesforce.com including: HTML/XHTML, jQuery, Javascript, AJAX, SQL, SOAP, REST, JSON, Apex, and SOQL; and
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD.
