Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive association event strategy aligned with business goals.
- Create and manage an annual association event calendar in partnership with various stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for new events to drive engagement.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with sales and business partners.
- Partner with marketing and subject matter experts to curate event agendas and speaker line-ups.
- Develop departmental measurements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Track and analyze event performance metrics and ROI.
- Work closely with the internal event production team for seamless execution.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in association events.
- Own post-event processes, including event recaps and insights sharing.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of working experience within event strategy (required).
- 5+ years of working experience within event strategy (preferred).
Qualifications
- University degree preferred.
- Customer-focused and results-driven.
- Demonstrated track record in event marketing.
- Ability to gain buy-in and influence outcomes.
- Experience creating and tracking program metrics and KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Understanding of the retirement marketplace and regulatory environment.
- Successful experience in developing and implementing event plans and budget management.
Compensation
Base Pay Range: $99,900 - $150,000 per year, with potential participation in incentive programs.
