What You’ll Do

  • Manage, coach, develop, and mentor a team of individual contributors located in the US, UK, and India, providing needed technical guidance and ensuring resources are effectively utilized.
  • Manage the 24x7x365 infrastructure, both on-premise and cloud-based, which powers worldwide business.
  • Define, implement, and maintain visible and transparent processes based on the ITIL framework, with a focus on providing world-class customer service to employees and customers.
  • Participate in developing and maintaining an effective disaster recovery program, including well-written documentation and plans, and ongoing testing of the teams’ preparedness to recover in the event of a disaster.
  • Ownership of monitoring, alerting, and logging capabilities for Corporate IT.
  • Ownership of the Critical Incident process for Corporate IT, including implementing response processes, developing procedures, and managing post-incident reviews.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement processes to drive operational excellence and reduce low-value work.
  • Partner with our India team to deliver 24x7 support and operations, developing an effective onshore/offshore operating model, processes, and handoffs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, specifically ISO 27001, CIS Level 1, and NIST.

Your experience may include:

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, including at least 2 years managing systems administration and network teams.
  • Proven experience in building a strong process-oriented operations based on ITIL, with a focus on delivering high efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong technical and operational experience across all areas of IT infrastructure and support, including:
  • Management of Cloud environments (IaaS and PaaS), with Azure and Google Cloud strongly preferred.
  • Virtualization technologies (traditional hypervisors as well as containers).
  • Storage technologies.
  • LAN/WAN/WLAN networking technologies.
  • Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Monitoring technologies, preferred Datadog.
  • Identity and Access Management platforms (Okta, Duo, Ping).
  • Backup & Data Protection.
  • Disaster Recovery strategies.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree plus some specialized training.
