Position Overview

We’re searching for a talented Senior Manager, Corporate IT to join our Corporate IT Infrastructure team. This hands-on role will mentor and lead a team of individual contributors managing the day-to-day operations of our network, infrastructure, and SaaS hosted services used by Applied employees across the US, Canada, Ireland, UK, and India. You will help define and implement scalable processes, enhance monitoring & logging, and evolve our KPIs.

What You’ll Do

1. Manage, coach, develop, and mentor a team of individual contributors across different locations, providing technical guidance and resource management.
2. Oversee the 24x7x365 infrastructure, both on-premise and cloud-based, supporting Applied’s global operations.
3. Define, implement, and maintain processes based on the ITIL framework, focusing on delivering excellent customer service.
4. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, including documentation and testing.
5. Own monitoring, alerting, and logging capabilities for Corporate IT.
6. Manage the Critical Incident process, including response procedures and post-incident reviews.
7. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
8. Partner with the India team to deliver 24x7 support, developing effective onshore/offshore models and processes.
9. Manage vendor relationships and ensure service level agreements are met.
10. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies such as ISO 270001, CIS Level 1, and NIST.

We’re Excited to Learn More About You

Your experience may include:

• At least 5 years in IT infrastructure operations, including 2 years managing systems administration and network teams.
• Proven experience building process-oriented operations based on ITIL, focusing on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Strong technical expertise across IT infrastructure areas, including:
• Management of Cloud environments (IaaS and PaaS), with preference for Azure and Google Cloud.
• Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server).
• Virtualization technologies and containers.
• Storage, networking technologies, CMDB, monitoring tools (preferably Datadog), Identity and Access Management platforms (Okta, Duo, Ping), Backup & Data Protection, Disaster Recovery strategies.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree plus specialized training.
