Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to own the operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of complex industrial equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work across electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and support precision machining and grinding operations. The role requires hands-on fabrication, hydraulic diagnostics, and collaboration with engineering and production teams to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance role.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. 1. Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all types of manufacturing machinery and equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
2. 2. Performing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on a regular basis to ensure optimal equipment performance.
3. 3. Fabricating, constructing, and installing parts or equipment as required, using various tools and machinery.
4. 4. Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems, identifying root causes of failures, and implementing effective solutions.
5. 5. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
6. 6. Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and standards.
7. 7. Training and mentoring junior technicians, sharing expertise and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. 8. Documenting all maintenance work performed, creating detailed reports for management.

Qualifications:

1. 1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. 2. Proven expertise in electrical, mechanical, equipment maintenance, fabrication, and hydraulics.
3. 3. A technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
4. 4. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
5. 5. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
6. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
7. 7. Proficiency in using various tools and machinery for repair and maintenance tasks.
8. 8. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
9. 9. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
