Job summary

Jobot in Ware, MA is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and oversee conveyor systems to ensure high uptime.

The role requires reading blueprints, collaborating with teams, and maintaining detailed maintenance records. We value safety, continuous improvement, and hands-on problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, robotics, conveyors, and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical skills with hydraulics and pneumatics understanding.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in production machinery and support equipment.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs and automation systems to ensure optimum performance and safety.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of conveyor systems, ensuring smooth and efficient product movement.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify potential improvements and implement solutions.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
