Job summary

Ulla Johnson is seeking an experienced inbound logistics and trade compliance professional to manage the end-to-end flow of goods from our factories into our US and EU warehouses. You will own PO tracking, 3PL performance, customs compliance, and returns processing, while partnering closely with Production, Finance, and our freight and warehouse partners to keep inventory moving on time and in compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Track PO status, communicate delays, and update arrival dates.
• Create reports for PO due dates, late shipments, and receiving discrepancies.
• Monitor 3PLs inbound processing to ensure SLAs are met.
• Analyze inbound KPI data and implement improvements.
• Weekly inbound receiving checks and reconciliation; weekly warehouse arrivals tracking.
• Create ASNs in ERP and notify Receiving teams; manage transfers.

Ulla Johnson is looking for an experienced Inbound Logistics & Trade Compliance professional to manage the end-to-end flow of goods from our factories into our US and EU warehouses. In this role, you'll own PO tracking, 3PL performance, customs compliance, and returns processing, while partnering closely with Production, Finance, and our freight and warehouse partners to keep inventory moving on time and in compliance. Job Responsibilities:

Core Inbound & Receiving

• Work closely with production to track purchase order (PO) status, communicate delays, and update expected arrival dates
• Create reports for approaching PO due dates, late shipments, and receiving discrepancies
• Closely monitor 3PLs (US and EU) inbound processing to ensure service level agreements are met
• Analyze warehouse inbound KPI data (receiving times, put-away accuracy, dock-to-stock) and implement improvements
• Weekly Inbound Receiving checks and reconciliation
• Weekly warehouse arrivals tracking
• Weekly Shipping Report
• Process warehouse transfer orders and intercompany warehouse transfers
• Create ASNs in ERP system, transmit to warehouse, and notify Receiving teams
• Maintain and update the Customs Compliance Manual
• Review all import documents for accuracy and ensure correct documents are provided in a timely manner
• Assign HTS codes to styles before each season starts and maintain the HTS chart in RLM

Returns & Reverse Logistics

• Manage Returns processes for Wholesale accounts
• Manage Returns processes for Retail accounts
• Create RAs and ASNs for personal orders
• Monitor and fix integration errors in ERP and WMS systems related to inbound receipts
• Ensure 3PLs have updated vendor guidelines and are compliant with all receiving requirements
• Daily communication with Production, factories, warehouses, customs brokers, and freight forwarder
• Review and manage Freight Forwarder rates
• Assist with DHL International shipment coordination
• Review shipping documents for accuracy and compliance

Finance & Reporting Support

• Review and approve transportation and customs broker invoices for payment
• Log freight and duty rates in costing sheets
• Run EOM checks and balances for inbound receipts and in-transit inventory
• Check, approve and log warehouse inbound activity invoices and incoming freight bills

Data & System Maintenance

• Perform ERP data entry as required
• Weekly review of Production team's maintenance of EXF dates, FOB Destination Port, and Manufacturer ID# in RLM ahead of each season

Education / Licenses / Certification

• Minimum 3 years of Inbound Logistics a must
• Knowledge of RLM a plus

General Required Experiences

• Minimum 4 years of business working experience
• Experience with Logistics, 3PLs
• Experience with customs compliance and international shipping strongly preferred
• Must possess a sense of urgency towards work completion
• Positive attitude and ability to lead well through change of priorities
• Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual who can work well both independently and as part of a team
